Job Title: Fabricator Job Description

As a fabricator, you will be responsible for performing Pulse MIG welding to create custom dryers, coolers, feeders, conveyors, shakeouts, screeners, spiral elevators, and heat exchangers. This role involves true fitter and fabrication tasks, requiring the ability to complete work orders from scratch. You will work extensively with blueprints and utilize mathematical skills to ensure accurate measurements.

• Perform Pulse MIG welding to fabricate custom equipment.
• Complete work orders from scratch using blueprints.
• Utilize mathematical skills to ensure precise measurements.
• Work with Flux Core and MIG welding techniques.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and work orders accurately.

• Experience in Flux Core, MIG, GMAW, FCAW, and Pulse welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mathematical skills, particularly with fractions and dimensions.
• Proficiency in tape measuring, welding symbols, and grinding.

• Experience in fabrication and fitting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The work environment is non-climate controlled with first shift hours from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 6am to 2:30pm on Fridays. The facility is equipped with clean gym, break rooms, lockers, and showers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Louisville,KY.
